Today has been my first "buyers remorse" day

I am right there with ya!!!!   I just had my surgery a week from tomorrow... but I think I would be feeling alot better if my butt wasn't hurting so bad!!!!  I can't really tell what it's going to look like... I still walk hutched over and have in 4 drains... so it's hard to tell.... I don't think it's going to be huge by any means... but not sure it's worth the pain.   Hopefully that will all begin to change in the next few weeks!

The funny thing is I was expecting lots of bruising and pain on my thighs (saddlebags) from the lipo but I have NO pain....no bruising and I don't think any swelling either.....it's all settled in my butt.  Isn't it amazing how the soreness just never stops....that's the most miserable part....you sit it hurts, lay down it hurts, lay on the side it hurts......maybe I need to hook up something so I can hang upside down for awhile...LOL

Oh gosh you sound like you are really in a lot of pain...I haven't had surgery yet and I'm starting to wonder if it will be worth it...do I really want to do this?  I sure hope you feel better soon.

It's not terrible pain......it's a never ending soreness.
PLEASE don't let my one or two bad days influence you.
Even now at my low point I know for sure in a couple days I will be upbeat again and will without a doubt I will be saying I'm so glad I did it and would do it again.

After these procedures it's common to go on a roller coaster ride of highs and lows ....happy and sad....  I'll be snapping out of my funk soon.

So Yes, you should do it!

Boy do I understand how you are feeling. My butt auto-augmentation was the most intense thing I have ever gone through. I had mine done 9-9-09 (along with four other procedures) and had the incision fail due to excessive swelling and the fact that I could only get comfortable laying on my back. I opened in a series of six open wounds across my backside and sides.

I went almost two months without sitting. I either stood or laid in bed on my sides.

Today is my first day without the wound vac and I am now just dressing my wounds until the skin closes up and the swelling has come down and I can finally say, I love my new butt!

I can be a long and painful journey, but I do believe you will get to the point where you will love your butt, too!

Hang in there and know that you aren't alone! It will get better!!

A few weeks ago I recall me acting this way about my TT.  I am now SOOOOOOO pleased that I did it... You told me I would be pleased with it too, and just wait it out.  So now I am giving you the same advice.  Wait it out.   Time to heal.  You will feel better soon, I am sure of it.  ;-)  If you hadn't done the augmentation you would have always wondered, what if....

Hugs!
