My eyes are swollen and bruised and my vision is not quite normal. It may be from the meds I have to put on my eyes. I haven peeked at my legs yet. This is my first time dealing with the JP drains. I will have them until the 21st when I get my stitches out.  I am in some pain but it could be a lot worse. Getting up and down is difficult but once I am up I can walk ok. I slept in a recliner last night and plan to stay in it for several days. I have heard the thighs are the hardest as far as pain and if that is true I should be fine in round two. The tummy and lower face is next.  So far I am still glad I did it and cannot wait to see the results.

Hi Susie,

Good to hear you are home! The drain was something new for me too. The first time I had to empty it I got light headed. I lived in my recliner for 4 days. My boney butt needed a pillow under it to be comfortable.

Happy Healing!

I have to say that if it wasnt for my hubby, I couldnt have handled the JP drains....I had two with my tummy tuck and the nxt morning after my procedure I remember him emptying them and I felt so weak and sick...the combination of everything my body had been through and the visual of the drains was just so much to handle, but the results were SO worth it...Best of Luck
