Update on Monday's surgery

Monday I had a BL/LBL/butt augmentation....  spent Monday night in the hospital and came home Tuesday afternoon.   Everything has been pretty much as expected with the exception of the butt augmentation (fat graphs)  my tushie is so sore it takes the pain away from everything else!!!!!  I was shocked by my breast... prior to WLS I was squeezed into a DDD and now I am probably a B!!!!  Decided not to have implants just yet but will probably do that when I do my inner thigh lift.  Had my first doctor's appt today and got my first peek at things....  going to change my binder and attempt a shower tomorrow.  He took out the 2 breasts drains so that still leaves me with 4... hopefully those will come out next week.   I can't believe how much the trip to the doctor wore me out today... came home and slept the rest of the day.

I think today was my WTF have I done day... but it has slowly gotten better... looking forward to being able to enjoy the new me!!!!!

I don't post much around here but I lurk alot and that has really helped me in handling my own PS!!!  Thanks to all who post their ups and downs!!!

Paige,

Thanks for the update.  I can't believe how much the size of your breasts changed.  I'm a DD now and after reading a lot of posts, most people say they don't change much size....I was hoping mine would go down to a C...so now I have hopes!  LOL!  Hang in there and keep us updated, I look forward to following your progress, as my LBL and BL is January 14th and I am gettin SOOOO nervous!!

I have to say I am really shocked with the size... but I wanted to wait to on the implants and not make any rash decisions.  I have always hated having large breasts.... but I'm not sure I'm crazy about them being too small either.  Good luck with your surgery in January!

Yeah, I don't blame you for waiting before you decide.  I decided to just wait and see how they turn out after the lift and if I think they end up too small, then during my second round I'll add implants to the "list".  They make such good lift bras now it may not be necessary...but we are paying a lot of money for these lifts and I know I want mine to look good naked...not just in a great bra!  And thanks...I'll be posting my progress once I get home from the hopsital.  I'll be in for 3 days..YUCK!

Hi!
We are almost surgery sisters.  I had mine done last week on Weds just a few days earlier.
MAN I can't believe how sore my butt is!!!!!!  I had the butt lift with flap augmentation (using my tissue, not a fat transfer).
I went to the surgeon today (it's a 4-5 hr roundtrip drive for me) and I was so worn out!!!  I'm still exhausted.  I'm sure I'll be asleep pretty soon.

Best wishes on your recovery.....

I totally agree with you on the butt thing!!!!  If I had to do it over I would pass on this!!!  Not sure the effect is worth the pain!!!

Hello again.

I so feel your pain!
My tushie is so sore and it just doesn't end...it seems like I never get a break from it even with the pain killers.  UGH.

We have to hang in there.  I'm told by others who had this done months ago that they are thrilled that they did it.  I'm hoping I'll feel that way real soon!   I hope you do too!!!!!

Hang in there kiddo

We were surgery buddies, I had mine on Monday also.  I had a breast lift (no implants) and extensive lipo on my back flanks, sides, abs and arms.

Each day seems to be getter worse, but I think with Lipo that might be normal, like any bruise, usually gets worse before better.

Good thing is my breats don't hurt at all so thats for sure a good thing!  Continue to do well and I look forward to seeing your progress.

THANKS:)

Hi Paige! I had TT, BL/BA, lipo flanks/abs/thighs, TL, and Fat grafting week ago today. I can say the Lipo and the booty are the sorest..especially the booty. I seem to be better in the morning getting sooo sore by evening..but each day is better though.
