Woke up this morning so so sad
I have no clue why but I woke up this morning so sad. My emotions are all over the place. I just start crying for no reason. I went down to the lobby for breakfast to get something to eat. And all of a sudden I was ready to ball right there. I had to go back to my room. I am sure once Patty comes and I get a shower I will feel better but for now I am just so blah.
I actually put my preop skinny levis on with a tank to see if they fit and maybe cheer me up. They do fit still thank goodness but did nothing for how I feel. I will post those pics and my 3 day post op pic yesterday. You will notice my thighs are so swollen I no longer have kneecaps and the bruising has started. I know it will all go down look great eventually. I am thrilled with my TT and thigh cut since they are extremely straight. Friends are welcome to see.
Hope everyone has a great day

Today is going good so far. I did get the drain out yesterday, I didn't think it was bothering me, but maybe it was......
Off to look at your pictures. I just posted mine

It's common for emotions to be all over the place. Not only did you put your body through major stress and trauma which it is trying to heal from but you also made major physical changes that your mind has to catch up with too. Anesthesia and the pain meds also contribute to messing up our bodies. It can be a real roller coaster ride especially the first few days/weeks. Coming here where others fully understand what you are feeling can help. Spouses, family and friends don't really understand because they have not gone through the experience. Think about it......you lost a lot of weight and totally changed your body, then you had surgery to remove the hanging skin and contour things....MAJOR changes....MAJOR surgeries...so you are entitled to be emotional.
Hang in there.....you will feel better physically and emotionally. FYI - the emotions may change back and forth in the same day....I just keep telling myself it is temporary and so worth it. This time next year it will all be a blurr in my memory banks and I'll be living large in my tiny body...and you will be too!
Hope you are feeling better now...
