4 weeks from today - my PS
Wednesday Jan 6th -- 10am for the TT, body sculpt-lipo, and eyes (was told it's a 6 hr surgery - and will go home that day) Same doc that is doing this did my BR/BL which I love!
I decided to do the eyes, as my lids hang and are big puffy underneath...... very much heredity factor as my mom and grandmothers eyes were very bad and I didn't want to wait until I was 60+ to have my nice eyes back again.
I asked the doc to submit the Panni portion of the TT to Aetna (and I submitted my own packet in advance to them also) I don't have high hopes that they'll pay anything, but if I don't ask I won't know (I do have a doc's letter, rashes, etc) so we'll see.
I am getting excited - but worried about all I read on the "swelling" - and wearing the compression garment for months !!!

I am three weeks out from my TT and the swelling is going away pretty much. I still have some lower abdominal swelling but I think that is to be expected. My compression garment is my new best friend, it feels really weird without it on. It makes me feel more "secure". I wear the stage 2 during the day and the stage 1 to sleep in. It just feels better to have it on. Good luck to you with your upcoming surgery, I love my results, it looks great and I'm sure you will too.

Hi
Congrats on setting the date.
Don't worry about the compression garment...I really have had no trouble with them and I've spent the majority of this past year in one (I've had a few procedures done this year).
Swelling....well it's not fun but it's part of the process.. I had NO swelling after my Tummy Tuck...very little puffiness.
I am however experiencing swell hell after the LBL that I just had last week. I can't wait for the swelling to stop and then go done. I honestly think I'm suffering more than normal with swelling because the compression garment I am in is too big.....it is not compressing anything....
Best wishes on your journey!

Good luck! Wow, going home same day...that is so brave. I was a mess for 2 days post op. The TT is cool but the Lipo will kick your behind (mine literally since I had Fat grafting to it...lol). I wish you the best.
