One week TT pictures
I have taken and posted my one week pictures on my profile. I had the drain removed yesterday and still have swelling. I tried to get into my jeans this morning just for fit, and it was a NO GO!!
I had a mini TT (or extended panniculectomy). Skin removed above and below the BB, with the BB replaced. I have had 5 children and didn't even hope for a flat belly. I think it is going to be better than I had hoped for. Insurance paid for this .....

You are healing really good! It looks like you will have a flat belly 'cause it is almost flat right now with all the swelling we got going on. I wish insurance would have paid for mine...but worth all that mulla I will be paying back to my 401k..
Congrats

Hi Sally,
Good question, LOL!! I actually went to the PS mostly because I wanted to have boobs. I had skin flaps with nipples and thought that if insurance would pay for the panni at the same time, it would save me some money. I really didn't think insurance would pay as I had no rashes, etc. It turns out that having the procedures separately was actually less money (done in the office surgical suite instead of the hospital).
Insurance did approve me and I had the self pay BA in September. The reason I didn't go with the full TT with muscle tightening is that I am 52 years old, have 5 kids and 4 grand kids. In clothing I am just fine with my body and without the skin flap on my belly, I am fine without the clothing as well. I didn't want the extra pain, recovery or expense. I spent all I could just having the boobies.
Everyone chooses what is most important to them. I am fine stopping right where I am. Once this swelling is gone and I am back into my size 2 I will be REALLY happy!!!
