SCHEDULED! &BOOB SIZE?

I SCHEDULED!  My plastic surgeon (Dr. Holly Wall) had an opening 12/16 and even though I had canceled before, I am going for it!  Tummy Tuck with liposuction around the waistline--hipbone incision--and breast lift with augmentation.
I weigh in the 160 neighborhood  right now.  And you know what, as tacky as it may sound, I want really big boobs.  I have been pregnant off and on for the past five years (have 3 kiddos) and at my highest weighed 240.  My poor boobs look like golf balls hanging in knee socks!  I really think that if I am going to finally do this, by gosh I want it big!  Does that sound nuts?  I know there are some people out there who think the opposite, but everyone I know who has gotten implants has either gone really large and loves them or wishes they had gone bigger.
I know its going to be rough with such young kids, but I have help and my practice will be closed for the holidays anyway.  It is just not feasible for me to take off work for this long any other time of the year.  I am still trying to lose a few pounds, but realistically it is just 10-15 pounds which is all on my middle anyway.
Excited and more than a little scared!!!

I definately think you should do what makes you happy!! If you like big boobs, get em! The only thing I would say because I'm always devils advocate it, be careful of the weight and the potential to affect your back, and remember that as WL people, our skin is "damaged goods" and you'll need a lift sooner with heavier implants.

I am so with you!! I have my surgery in May (longs way off) and I have added a breast augmentation. At first I thought - gosh - a nice C would be nice & then I thought what the heck - if I'm gonna go - GO BIG!! I am going to ask for a D cup - but let my PS make the final desciscion. I too want them to be noticed. I have been a B flat all my life & why have the surgery if no one can tell!!

Let me know what you think of them once they are "installed"!!

Good luck!!

No.  It doesn't sound nuts.  If you want them big, for it.  I'm sure he will have you try the implants in a bra so you can see which look you like.

Great that you got in that soon.  Wish you good healing.

It's such a personal choice and we all have reasons for what we like and don't like. Don't feel like you have to defend your choices. I say go for what you want!

Like someone else suggested, do a test drive with the new size.  I'm a "D" and there are times when I wish I was smaller but I weigh a lot less than you do so perhaps that's why they seem large.  Funny that your friends wish they had gone bigger, my friends wish they had gone smaller.

I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.  Good luck with the surgery.
