I don't know if a full is the same as extended Brachio. I had extended Brachio and my incision runs from my elbow down past to my bra fat check out my photos, easiest PS so far

It's amazing what can be done to fix our bodies isn't it?!

Mine mustn't be the extended, as the scar will go to the top of my inner arm.  Any fat area under my armpit he said he will fix during my breast lift.

As soon as you are off painkillers and feel comfortable.

How do you ladies feel about the scar?

I would rather have a scar that will fade, than the flab that just jiggles in the breeze. ANY DAY!!

I drove two days after surgery - back to the clinic for a check up.  After the first 48, I didn't need any narcotics.  The pain was not a big problem.

I'm currently "out" 7 days from a full brachio and I wouldn't want to drive yet!  Although on very little pain meds now, if I were driving and had to make a sudden turn or correction, I don't think I could.  I would think two weeks after surgery would be far more reasonable and safe.  And I don't understand this driving for many hours shortly thereafter.  We're supposed to keep our arms elevated with pillows 24/7 - aren't we?  To lower the swelling is the purpose, which is important for healing.

Thanks for all the replies.  I'm not planning on driving any long distances.  I just want to be able to drive to Wal Mart or Starbucks, which are about 3 miles from my house (and my mother and I live together so I know she'll be driving me CRAZY and I will have to get out of the house!!)

I am having an extended brachioplasty- from elbow to underarm.  My surgeon usually likes to stop about an inch or so from the elbow, but he said to give my arms a better shape, he'll probably go to the elbow.  Which is fine by me.  I'd much rather have the scar than the skin (pics posted on my profile page).  And I'm not sure when I can afford to get my breasts done, so I'm glad he's getting the little pooch of backfat next to my underarms.

So excited!!!!!!!!!
