Thanks for all the help and support you guys have given me here.  I appreciate you!!

well I had a extended Brachioplasty on Monday before Thanksgiving and I went to the PS on that Wednesday and he removed my drains and said as long as I am not taking any pain medication for 24 hrs I can drive, so I was drivin 3 days post-op
Good Luck to you

I had  boatload of stuff done last month (full brachio, BA/BL,LBL, vertical thigh lift) and actually drove home from my friends house less than 2 weeks later when I got home. (He picked me up with MY car and I dropped him off)

Ten days later I had to take my son back to the facility he lives in, which was a 2 1/2 hr drive, but actually took nearly 4 due to stops we made to pick things up and go to lunch. I got home 9 hours after I left the house and was pooped, but would have been with all the surgery. The main thing is, DO NOT DRIVE IF YOU ARE ON NARCOTIC PAIN MEDS. I only used ibuprophen.

You should be fine. I wouldnt worry too much. Try short jaunts first and go from there.

Good luck with your work! You will LOVE having arms that do not look like they can sustain flight!! I know I do.

You may be able to do this at least part time within a week. Ask your surgeon and play it by ear.

I as on the computer from the hospital and it didnt bother my arms one bit...but my nails were too long and the keyboard on my new netbook was small, so my typing was lousy.

I dont foresee any issues there other than what the doc has to say. Always take his/her advice.

Since this will be the first PS I'm having done, eagerly reading here...but I've heard the terms full brachio, I assume that's from the elbow to the armpit?

Thanks!

Part of it is loose skin, but a lot of it is genetic.  I'm SO excited at the possibility of this happening this summer, that I'm looking forward to showing my arms for the first time in public in geez...15 years if not longer!
