Thanks for the hugs Lin!
I hope it passes soon......lol.  Can't wait to see final results or at least a better idea of the results in a couple weeks.

Hi Ruth,

Hopefully you're on your way home at this point. Glad to hear you are doing well all things considered. I always read your posts with great interest. I'm getting ready for my TT surgery in January. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy uneventful recovery.

Hi
Thanks for the well wishes.  I hope your Tummy Tuck goes as easy and smoothly for you as mine did for me.  It was a virtual piece of cake compared to this butt lift w/aug.

Keep me posting on your pre and post op....if I can answer any questions feel free to PM me.

Ruth, I feel your pain..literally! I had a TT, B/L B/A, small thigh lift, fat grafting to my booty, and lots of lipo. The 2nd day was really hard on me. The pain meds were not working for the lipo on my back and my booty. Last night sweet nurse Patty changed mine up and I also took my Ambien for sleeping and whew got some real good sleep. Today is better for me. Sorry to hear you aren't doing well but I am sure we will feel better each day!

Hi Tammy!
I hear you...the first 2 days were really tough!  Some of it was my fault because after the tummy tuck I had so little pain and issues that I was down to 1 pill every 6 hrs quickly.  This time I tired to do 1 pill every 3-4 hrs the first day and I think it would have worked if they got the pills to me on time but they would be up to 1 1/2 hrs late so by then I needed 2 and still would be uncomfortable.

ANYHOW...some things are better today and I just hope it continues to improve...
Glad you are feeling better!!!

Ruth,

I have a good idea of what you are going through, as I had those procedures plus more in September. It continues to get better. Hang in there!!

Hi Jillian,
I remember all the work you had done at one time....I can't imagine it....not the way I've felt this past week.
Anyhow, you once mentioned some sort of "butt vac"...what does that do?  Was it for swelling?
Thanks!

It's a wound vac and was put on the open wounds on my butt. VAC stands for vacuum assisted closure. It helps to close you up faster than you would otherwise.

There is a picture of it on my profile.
