Medial (small) thigh lift veterans- help?

Hi all,

I was wondering if the MTL veterans could answer some of my questions:

1. Are you happy with your resutls?

2. Where was your scar placed?

3. How far from front to back does the scar run?

4. Did you have much lipo performed at the same time?

5. Do you have any before and after pictures you are willing to share?

Thanks for your help!

Correct! And we shared drain removal day! Just kidding, Teri. But I got lipo. If you get lipo before the small lift, you can see how well the skin retracts, and get better results with the small lift later. You don't have to worry about that though, because you have the big one. When they do that, they excise the tissue.

OK...I didnt THINK you had it, but when I saw your question, I started thinking that you did and it was my age catching up with me, LOL.

I sure wish a bit more flesh was taken from the tops of my inner thighs. Maybe there is some swelling left, but it is awfully fleshy. The rest of the thighs look good...but that pooch! yuk!!

Hi Katie, I posted an answer to this earlier but I don't see it show up. I had the med thigh lift in June and the scar was low from the beginning. It shows when I have swim suits on. It did not take enough skin up and I still have hanging skin there. Also I had an incision open on it and that took forever to heal, I finally used Desitin Baby Butt ointment to dry it up. I would not do that surgery again as it wasn't as successful as the others. My best surgeries have been my breasts and arms, and the arms are really badly scarred, I have those hydrotrophic scars on them and Dr. S said he will give me shots in them while I am on the table. Yes Dr.S did all of my surgeris. I am having revisions on my stomach on Jan 12. He will shoot my arms with something to get the scars to lay down better or something like that. I just scar badly, I am very fair skinned. Carole

Well thats all I am planning this trip. I chickened out on a lower face lift but perhaps another time. I just wasn't ready for it. I need to heal from all this other stuff that was done. I had a lower body lift, thigh lift, arm lift, and breast lift with implants done in June and this trip is all about revisions on my stomach. This would have been a perfect time to have the face work done but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I scar badly and I need to see others with the work done before I will put my face thru that. Its something you can't hide. Carole
