Anjail, Thanks so much, it just helps to know I'm not some kind of drain freak! I've been reading about your swelling problems and hope things lighten up for you soon. I guess we just have to take the good with the bad.
I am so sorry you are going through this. My surgery is months away & the more I read the more I learn. You are not a freak & you are not alone. There are other who have drains in a long time as well. Just try & stay postive & look forward to the wonderful night that you can get a good nights rest.
Well Bonnie, the nurse at my surgeon's office said they had one patient with a drain in place for three months! So I told her that was one record I did NOT want to break. :) I think we are just on the longer end of the normal drain time! I'm trying to stay positive.
