Sad Story
That was a shocking story. However, just as shocking are the comments posted below the story. Talk about heartless! One poster, in particular, commented on the fact that those who die during elective surgery get no sympathy from her (I'm assuming it's a woman.) Nor will she shed one tear over their deaths. Her heartless, indifferent, comments were followed by a statement to the effect that those individuals willingly submitting to elective surgery show a disregard for life. Thought that was rather hypocritcal considering she had just stated that the loss of lives due to elective surgery was of no consequence to her.

Oh yeah, I saw that. And what's worse is that the comments are so ignorant. All surgery is elective. I've had nine surgeries in my life and each time I signed a consent form. I wasn't forced to have any of them.
