Made it through LBL surgery

Hello everyone, well I made it.  Had my LBL yesterday and I can say honestly that this is one painful surgery, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.  My DH is taking great care of me.  I'm taking my pain meds on time and tring to eat plenty of protein, but I really don't have much of an appetite.  She took of 6 pounds of skin; it's hard to really tell the results yet since I'm in the girdle from the knees to by breasts.  I have 4 drains that are pinned up in the front so I look like I'm about 7 months pregnant

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.  Right now, I'm thankful for Demerol!

WOW, Alice, can't believe you're up and posting one day after your LBL.  Very inspiring to me... as my LBL surgery is in 2.5  weeks and I'm getting really nervous about what the recovery will be like.

Rest up and all the best to you!!
