drains

What did you do with the drains so you could go to work?  I am 13 days out and still have one drain and I haven't been able to figure out what to wear with the drain.

any help would be appreciated.

A line skirts or dresses with the drain pinned to the inside would be helpful - or a pair of pants that are too big is the only other option I can think of.  Your probably still in the binder too?  You'll need bigger pants for that as well.

I dont know what all youhad done, but at 13 days, you are going back to work?

I am 10 days out and my 7 drains are history thank God. But being a nurse, I am out of work for the next month +. 

The above post had a sane idea. I had been tucking the lower ones into my waistband and wearing a loose shirt,  The arm drains were a bigger pain. No matter what I did, they would get caught on something.

BTW...I do hope that if you were given a compression garment, you still wear it for at least 4 weeks...longer if the Dr said so.
