Ten days ago, I had a lbl, small bl/ba, brachioplasty, full thigh lift with lipo to thighs. MY drains were all out yesterday (oh! what a feeling!!) My stiches should be coming out tomorrow and I go home on Sat.

Everyone is different. Fabydee went home this morning (sniff, sniff!) with I believe 2 drains left (out of 7). I all depends on your daily output. I stopped putting much fluid out on my 4th day and was able to ditch 2, next day, 3 more. Yesterday...total liberation.

I hve been healing quickly and efficiently. Fab was a bit slower...Kat is having more pain than I have.

So much depends on YOU and your procedures.  But, I would highly recommend Dr. S.
NEVER  will you find a more humble, caring surgeon! HIs bedside manner is sublime. He is so sweet and attentive to your needs. There is not a shred of arrogance in him. And you get his cellphone number if you need ANYTHING. And he means it when he says "call me if you need anything".

(MY FLIGHT SUCKS...MTY, MX TO ATLANTA-THEN TO DETROIT-THEN SYRACUSE, THEN A 90 MIN DRIVE HOME.  LEAVING HOTEL AT 4;30AM AND GET HOME AROUND 10 PM!! AT LEAST I GOT 600.00 REIMBURSED FROM DR.S )

He will probably tell you 12 days. I am staying 14 because I am traveling alone, and I don't have good follow up care at home. Plus, its just how the flights worked out. You will probably be the same. Good luck.

Hopefully i will be on good drugs the first week, so it will go by fast. I will be alone too. i can't wait to see pictures.

I wanted to be home by Christmas Eve to be with my three kids, so Dr. S. is letting me leave on Day 7.  I did infom him that my friend is a RN and will be taking out my stitches and drains for me.
