I figured it was easier to just post the pics here. I felt a little embarrassed at first but I figure it is what it is and everyone on this board is so open and helpful.

These were taken day 6 after anchor cut tummy tuck. I'm not sure what is swelling around my hip area and what is still fat. I did not have any lipo done so I may just be left with some love handles???? I'm not sure how to feel about my new look yet - still surprising to look in the mirror and curious how much is swelling. Any way the hanging gross panni is gone and so are the granny panties!!!

The pain has been totally managable with the Perocet and the muscle relaxant that the doc prescribed.

Thanks for answering that personal question! Your tummy and panni looks exactly like mine and I was curious. It always seems like so much weight when our bodies are carrying it around. Nine pounds is a lot! Could you tell the difference with your back? My back really bothers me a lot - that's why I'm having this done before I reach goal, even though I know I'll have to have a revision. I'm okay with that. AGAIN you look amazing! THANK YOU so much for sharing your pictures with us!

My back usually hurt every morning upon waking up. I think because I sleep on my side and the big ole belly hangs down. Since my tummy tuck I have only slept on my back so far. So, I don't really know yet - but I can't help but believe that my back will feel much better not lugging all that around :)
