MY SURGERY WAS CANCELLED!

Yes, the countdown begins AGAIN.. Like the old saying goes "Things happen for a reason" Afte a restless night of sleep and much soul searching I am in much better frame of mind this morning.

I know exactly how you feel.  My LapBand surgery was canceled the same way because the anesthesiologist wasn't comfortable doing my surgery in a surgicenter due to my family history of Malignant Hyperthermia.    He didn't say a word, until they were about to wheel me into the OR Suite.  I had the IV, heparin shot and sedative already.  I was not a happy camper.  I had to wait two months before things were in order for me to have the surgery in the main OR.
Hang in there!  You'll get your new body soon!

2 months. that must have been torture for you.. I am only a week away.. I think the dyanmics of the OR changed  so much trying to stabilize  me that I think I wiped them out for the day !  I'm sure it is for safety reasons.. but Iknow when I have a full code and have to do CPR I AM WIPED OUT..  but I must commend them for their quick thinking and response, and I am very grateful to be alive , because sometimes these reactions can be fatal..

Although it sucks miserably, there is a reason things happen the way they do, and may you never know why things happened like this!

I am so happy your reaction occurred when/where it did! Someone was looking out for you.

Glad you only have a week to wait. Before you know it, you will be in recover marveling over your new bad-self!!
