I want an Abdominoplasty after my 1 year anniversary
My 1 year anniversary is Feb 19th,2010. I want an Abdominoplasty soon after that. My goal of 225 lbs is very little for me because I have lots of muscle and I'm gonna have no trouble reaching my goal in my 1st year.
I have lifted weights for well over 20 years and since RNY I have suprisingly kept lots of muscle while losing fat. I drink 3 protein drinks per day & have 3 protein rich meals per day(app.200 grams of protein per day). As you can see from my tickers below, my weight is dropping off well. I can't imagine how much would have came off if I wasn't bust'n my butt in the gym 4 nights per week to keep the muscle.
I'm so excited about how I look & feel. (eccept the ugly hang'n skin on the bottom of my belly. (I am also having problems with lower back pain & some rash that is causing me trouble while working.) Feels like that skin is a sweating, heavy beast tucked into my underwear.
Please help with advice for a guy from Ohio who has Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance.
I love my new life but want that big sweaty monster outta my underpants. ( NO, not that one...!!! My skin, My skin...
Tell me what steps I should be doing to get my insurance to cover the Abdominoplasty?
Any Doctor referrals from Ohio?
Thank You,
Fred Flintstone

Hello Fred!
Follow this link to an article that Dr. L has on his website that I am finding very helpful as I undergo trying also to have Anthem pay for some of my PS.

Then follow the Anthem link that is in his PDF on page 7.
Hope this helps.
