If you had to borrow money to get your plastic surgery, where did you get it from?  I'm trying to find a reputable lender to work with.

Thanks

Hi Jody,

I didn't finance my BA, but my Drs office offers Care Credit and one other. I have heard good things about Care Credit.

I will be totally honest on the subject...I have a care credit card with a larger credit line.I got it a few years back but still never use it. My mom's dog was kicked by her horse so I used the card and if payed off in x amount of months it was zero interest.

I have went around and around with them about providing clients with the option of shopping out of the country for medical services. Obviously I have had no success. However, the one time I used the card it was easy they were great!!! But Capital one is better they offer more providers and have better interest rates.

I am tight with my money, I love to feel like I am getting a real heck of a deal....I know it's my life and bargaining makes no since but with research, and good references one can get a total makeover in another country for what some have payed for a breast lift and aug alone. Now I am in no way trying to sway anyone into anything. But lenders will lend and so will some banks with a good credit score. Shop around and don't settle with some crappy high rate company who is praying on you due to the economy or whatever! Have a good one I wish you the best.

Thanks.  I've been wondering about the "out of country" issue.  From what I've seen so far, they want to know who the Dr is (which is ok) and if they're on their plan, etc.  I'll need to make some phone calls.

I didn't know Capital One had a line of credit for surgery.  I'll have to check that out too.

Lucky you!  Don't think that will work for me - my parents have already spent any inheritance I may have dreamed of getting, and are just barely making it by themselves.  Wish that could have worked for me!
