I didn't have large amounts of skin removed but I have also lost weight since starting my plastics. I'm eleven pounds lighter than I was when I first started the process. I also feel like it's really showing in my face

Renee,

Have you done anything to stop losing?  Do you think you will need your face done?

I'm trying everything. I'm doing 2 to 3 protein shakes a day mainly to aid in my healing and you would not even believe the amount of carbs I eat. I seem to really have a lot of malabsorption. I've got a short common channel and it can be a blessing and a curse!

I need face work for sure. My face was so full and fat before losing the weight. I have the folds coming down from the nose towards my mouth and of course my cheeks have fallen and then there's the neck....LOL  I am just a plastic surgeon's dream!

Jodi,

Thank you for posting. I know a lot of people read this and thought I was silly for worrying, but it is a real concern to me. After 50 things are different, too thin is not a good thing...I'm happy to know things stabilize after awhile.

I'm not really having issues with swelling, but I'm not back to work yet either.

Did your clothing size change?

Your surgeon did a wonderful job, and your face is amazing!  You have really helped me to feel better. I figure I will end up a size 4, I started a size 6...I think 2 is too small for me.

Thank you again, and good luck to you.
