Did anyone carry their weight in butt and thighs? Did you have LBL?

Hi!
Ok, I'm getting ready for my lower body work.....wow only 3 more weeks....time is going to fly as I have so much to keep my busy with new furniture coming next week and a ton of landscaping being done over the next 10 days, and then I have friends coming to stay Thanksgiving week....then it will be surgery time before I know it.

ANYHOW...........

Did anyone who carried their weight in their legs and butt have the LBL?  I'm so curious what kind of results I might be able to expect with the butt lift and outer thigh lift.  If you did and have pics to share I'd sure appreciate it.  I had my Tummy Tuck done and love the results but I have no idea what to expect with the rest of the lower body work.......

Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I had most of my weight in my butt and thighs. LBL did wonders for Bertha in the back. Still trying to see the results of the MTL for the inner thighs.

Hi Sonya,
Hope you don't mind a few questions....

Did you notice a difference in your legs after the LBL?
Did the LBL make your butt smaller?  I'm hoping mine will be less wide.

Did you have the inner thighs done separately or at same time as your lbl?
Did you have the long incision on the inner thighs?

Thanks a bunch!!!

I noticed some results on the outer thigh, the inner thighs lifted just a little bit. I really didn't notice the difference in my thighs until the MTL because they were such thunder thighs. I went to now having no butt, not sure if it is less wide, I'm sure it is since the tape measure showed less.

I just had my inner thighs done. My surgeon won't do the LBL & Thighs together thinks it kind of pulls in opposite directions. I'm so glad he didn't because the inner thighs has been the most painful so far. I went w/ the long incision so it could get rid of a lot of the bulk in my thighs. Still swollen the MTL took off 5 inches. But w/ all the pain the results are definately worth it.

 Sonya,

Do you mind my asking where you had your procedure done? Are you happy with the results? Where you able to get insurance to help with any of the cost? I am from Michigan too , weight down to 139 pounds from 358 and all of my weight is in the thighs and caboose. I have pain when jogging, rashes etc, but so far, no plastic surgeon I have contacted will even attempt to try and get insurance covered. Just wondering how things went for you.
I appreciate you help.

I had mine done in GR by Dr. Livingston. He and his office were very helpful in trying to get my insurance to cover it but my insurance sucks and has denied it (I'm going to appeal). His office and staff are great, they did get me approved for short-term disbility for my LBL. He is in the same office as my bariatric surgeon and is their plastic surgery specialist.

Sonya,
I had consulted with another surgeon who said the same thing about the LBL and the MTL.  He said that hte MTL gave the greatest results, however, it was the most painful for his patients and he wouldn't do the LBL and MTL together.
I bet you look great!

Just wanted to add this to the thread:

After my LBL I noticed a significant difference in my outer thighs (muuuuch smoother).. but over time, as skin has loosened up and things have settled down and in to place - my outer thighs are like cottage cheese again. :(
