Actually doctor S uses low, medium  & high profile depending on the size you are looking for and the natural size of your stature, you will get to check the diff out during your markings session...

He said he was planning on using high profile. We shall see!

Can't wait till you get here what time does your flight get in?

I went down to the lobby this morning at 7am to make sure I would get to see Terri before her surgery, she was excited just wished she could have some coffee!

I would make sure you bring protein that mixes with water in a shaker I brought nectar fuzzy navel & it has worked out fine, also bring protein bars and other snacks you will def need them at the clinic & the one thing I wish I had brought but didn't is a wire hanger.  It will be very helpful in reaching for things you can not quite get to, wether at the clinic or on the bed at the hotel.  I have been using a plastic one but it is not as convenient & is not quite as long.  Also bring 2 lanyards or actually I bought long (so you can adjust the legth to your tubes) shoe laces this way you wear one in the shower then have a dry one to use his drains all have small clips that you can hang them with.

That is really all I can think of that hasn't already been talked about on the lists going around.
Don't worry Dr S is a perfectionist and would never let you out of there with snything that was out of propertion for your body.

Don't worry, you will also have 2 veterans to help you thru it!!!

See you soon,

Fab

So happy for you Katie!  YOu are going to do great!  My nerves kicked in the night before surgery, and I was a blubbery mess in the hotel room.  I got it all out and was fine the day of surgery.

Good luck my dear and keep us posted!

Thanks Jessica! That helps me to remember back to the WLS. I was excited, then nervous, then terrified the day before surgery, but for some reason, the day of surgery, I was just fine! i'll try to get back on here as soon as I can after surgery for updates. I'm sure I'll be bored!

Best wishes Katie for safe and complication free surgery!  I'm having a LBL here in NC in 2 weeks so I totally understand the nerves and excitement!  Have a great trip and I'll be following along on the board for updates.
