weight restrictions after surgery???

Hi, I'm filling out my FMLA paper work and would like to know what kind of lifting restrictions ur dr gave you.  I am probably taking 4 weeks off.  I think I read somewhere that you shouldn't lift more than five pounds for the first 6 weeks.  Thanks for the help...

sorry...meant lifting restrictions...am tired and should probably be in bed...

Those are the instructions that I received after surgery.  It may depend on what procedures you will be having though.
