My surgeon would not allow ice on incisions.  I don't have a magic formula.  I kept off my feet as much as possible at the office and I really avoided salty and processed foods for the first few months.  I drank lots of water and I wore my binder 24/7.  Good luck - it will go away eventually.

Thank you to ALL of you who answered. I just needed to be reminded that "this too shall pass" PLUS this morning I thought "Tonya you are an IDIOT!" After 13 days of sitting & relaxing & keeping my legs propped up so many hours a day, yesterday day I ; 1)Went back to work 8 hours 20 BEFORE i went to work (2:30p-11p) I got up at 7am to be at 9am Dr appointment. SSSOOO I went from being up on my feet no MORE than 3 hrs aday at a time to basically 14 hours up with MAYBE a total 1hr 1/2 with my feet propped.
