On the 13th, I'm having my scars revised in a few places where they have buckled. This is done in-office, under local, on a Friday afternoon.

Think I'll feel okay to drive back home (5 hours) on Sunday?

I would say Definately!  I had my scars revised under general at the same time as my arms. But you really didn't even feel the revisions!  They are so fine and it's not like they separate the skin and muscle like they did the first time so it's just like a regular cut healing. My looks and feels fabulous! I had my arm and breast surgery with revisions to my LBL scar (about 10 inches total in a few spots) done on a Thursday and was riding home about 5 hrs in a car on Saturday. If I could have used my arms, I could have drove.

Shari,  The revisions will not be a problem with the drive.  I've had my upper right arm revised and it was a non-event.  Revisions take a long time to heal/fade but they are not painful.  Good luck.  Donna

Absolutely. Last month I had LBL scar revision in 2 places where the incision opened up on each butt cheek last year. If I hadn't been given valium for some lipo performed at the same time,  I would have been fine to drive same day. If you are only given a local anesthetic you'll be OK to drive immediately afterward most likely.  My PS is in the same bldg as yours. I'd l'd love to meet up with you but I'll be out of town. Good luck!

Shouldn't be any problem as long as you only have a local.

I had two separate revisions done and had no problems, only slight restrictions temporarily to allow things to heal, but was able to drive and do most things just fine. I am sure your surgeon will tell you if you have any strictions.
