I am having a large TT, breast lift and tummy lipo with Dr. S. I'll be coming home at 8 days since my brother in law is a NP.

What can I expect afterwards? I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old. How soon til I can drive and take them to school? I expect I can't work out for 4-6 weeks. How long did you wear your compression garments and then did you switch to binders?

How long did it take you to walk ok and not feel so sore?

Any other input?

I had a LBL (no lipo) and hernia repair. I was told no driving until 1) you are off pain meds 2) you can react in fully (range of motion motion and quickness) in a driving situation. I drove about 2 1/2 weeks out, but only to the grocery store 2 mins from home and yeah it was way too early for me to be driving. I waited until 4 weeks out to drive "normally".

I didn't have a compression garmet, just a binder and I wear it for 6 weeks.

I was ok to walk (i got up for walks in the horpital to help prevent blood clots) but REALLY hunched over. It took about 3 weeks before I was upright again. My soreness didn't last too long, again lack of lipo, not sure.

All the best with your surgery.
