I'm flying American and will have to pay for a bag. I know Southwest doesn't charge though.

Are you sure about that ?  Check and see if it changed since I purchased my ticket but I was able to check 2 free bags since I was going to Mexico .

Hmmmmm I wonder if AA will charge me going from Vancouver thru Dallas to Mexico.  I guess I better check on that one. 

I am leaving in the morning on AA & just double checked on American you get 2 free bags on international flights not weighing more than 50lbs each!  Very excited, doubt I'll get any sleep tonight!

Then surgery at 8am tomorrow morning!
