Wow, you do look great.  I can't remember, did you have any thigh work done?  They look great too.  Sauceda does great work.

thank you!  I had a medial/small thigh lift done, and they are still swollen too.  Dr S wanted to do a full thigh lift, but I didn't want the scars.  I have 1 area that might need a revision when all the swelling is gone, but we are waiting to see what it looks like in a few months.  I just have a little extra skin by the incision area that might need a small revision.

I think your legs look great.  I don't understand why he felt you needed the full thigh lift.   He told me I needed a full thigh lift and I agree.  but that will have to wait for round 2.  I first have to get round one done before dealing with that issue though...

Hi Susie,

They look ok in pictures, but you should see me walk!  I feel like I am carrying jello on my legs.  He didn't think I needed a full one until he saw me in person.  He said a small one would be fine, but a full would be even better.  I also think now that I am being very critical of myself too, and now that nothing else jiggles beside my legs.  I did meaure my thighs, and they are 21 inches at the biggest.  I am not for sure if this is considered big or not.

Hey Susie,

I am from Illinois too and considering Dr. S. Where in Illinois are you? Do you already have a date booked with the doc or are you still in the decision process? It would be great to have someone nearby that has been a patient.

You look SO amazing, Jessica!  I am so happy for you that you got that last drain out.  Wow, you are brave to do that on your own!  That's the only pain I'm having at all is those darn drain sites!  And for some reason my drain lines are short and not long enough to hook to a lanyard, so we have them pinned the to lower front of of my shirt - between my floppy boobs and the two drains, I feel like a cow and have an undeniable urge to moo at everyone.  Can't wait for my 1-week follow up on Wednesday, hoping to get at least the one out that's been consistenly at or below 10CCs in 24-hours out.  The other's hovering at 30CCs in 24 hours.

Thanks Lizzy!  I am so swollen and really wi**** would go down some. Sorry you are having so much pain with the drains, but I bet you get all of them out!  Dr S says they can come out as long as they are under 50 in 24 hours, but I know some Dr's are different.

 A follow-up question/remark:

How is it that the stitch holding the drain in place was done so poorly that it ripped through the skin?

Doesn't Dr. Sauceda place the drains securely?  What happened?

And what is happening with the 50-55 ml/day drainage, these days?

It wasn't done poorly at all!  I was over 3 weeks post op when it happened, and I had tried on a pair of really tight jeans the day before.  I am pretty sure that I am the one that caused it because I felt it hurt when I tried on the jeans.  Also, I dropped my drain in the shower as well when I was rearranging it on my lanyard.  That happened all in 1 day, so I am sure it was my fault.  I had done that many times before, and I just push myself more than normal people do.  He isn't to blame at all.  The drain was going to be removed as soon as I was under the 50 per day anyway, so I was close to that.

I am a little more swollen, but I have been on the go nonstop since Friday.  It is my fault for not resting, but I am tryinh to take it easy now.  Swelling is starting to subside a little today too.
