Celebrating one year post LBL

A year ago I was just getting into recovery........hard to believe.   Recovering from the LBL was certainly the most challenging thing I've done - but it was so worth it.   I remember how apprehensive I was about it all.......and the adivce and support of OH folks helped me so much.  For those of you who are considering plastics - or are in process - take one day at a time........a year later my body is transformed........when I look at the pics a few days postop (on my profile) it brings it all back.........but the pain is long forgotten.......Susan

Hi Susan, it's great to read about your experience and thanks for sharing the photos.  I'm scheduled for a LBL on Nov 24th.  I'm excited but nervous.  It really helps to see photos of REAL people who have had the same thing done.

Susan, I am a long-time member of OH on the DS board and only recently came here to the PS forum.

I am leaving next Sunday to have 4 procedures in Mx and am so excited to be having this done.

I looked at your photos and must say how wonderful you look. I did comment on some of the pics. I was amazed at how much the camera loves you!! You are just sooo photogenic.

I hope now that your body has been slimmed, recontoured and is looking so very healthy, that you are enjoying life the way you always should. It as a long road, but very worthwhile, no??
