I've loved your blog and getting to know you here on OH.  You've been such an inspiration to me and so many others!

Thanks Dee!  My blog was to hopefully help others with their research and help others that were in my same position.  It has been great getting to know all of you as well!

Man - after reading everyone's messages re: Dr. S - I'd so go to him in a heartbeat if I was in the same hemisphere - LOL. I'm very pleased with my German surgeon overall, however - it's just I spent twice as much as what Dr. S would have charged :-( and I sure didn't get any good mexican food either!!!

My surgery is  11/16/09        2 more weeks. And am looking forward to meeting some of you there...

Glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't wait the 18 months recommended.... My WLS date is 11-10-09, close to yours!

I'm not waiting 18 months either. I have been the same weight since late August. My skin is horrid so I think I can lose 11 more and so by the time surgery is here I will have been at a stable weight 4 months. I will be a week short of a year from WLS.
