Has anyone had trouble getting FMLA approved?

I'm worried because of the fact that the doctor is in Mexico and because the procedure is probably considered cosmetic...

I don't anticipate any problems. 

I am going to use the term "reconstructive" surgery when I send in my request.

Shscharger, aka Tony, sent his FMLA forms to Dr S, and he had no problems getting his approved.  You might check with him and see how he filled his out.

I didn't have any problems with getting the FMLA approved.  I am in the process of getting my short term disability done now.  I have to send another form for Dr S to sign.  The short term disability said it really doesn't matter where the doctor is located.
