Loose skin!

My tt looks good but my arms are still fat, I wish he had taken more off but oh well what can you do, my legs are not done so I guess my fat arms balance out my fat overskinned legs.  I noticed this worst in my neck when it got loose again, my doctor said it could happen I hoped and wished it wouldn't but bad skin and being old was against me.  Some day maybe I can hit the lottery and have my skin suit pulled up and tightened.  I am thankful for my flat tummy though, I had a female plastic surgeon and I think she got the fact I wanted FLAT because it is.

Heidi!!!
Another old timer from the PS board!  I am interested in all your face/neck stuff.  Can I pm you about it?

Last week I was at the PS office and he told me that women are supposed to have their abdomen go in and then gently curve out below the bellybutton.

I said, "Um, only if they've had babies is that normal!  It should be FLAT!"

Sure pm me, I am an open book, I don't hide anything about my plastics, my neck lift was the most painful procedure for me, the sutures behind my ears nearly drove me over the brink and after the first lift and it loosened I actually went and had it done again only to have it loosen again.  My doctor told me it was my long neck, I guess giraffe neck doesn't equal nice tight neck skin.  Its not noticeable when I smile that much but otherwise I can see a loose area that I hate.  If I was rolling in dough I would have it fixed, I am not however, so I will being praying to the lottery gods for help.

One of things my plastic surgeon went over with me during my initial consult was that sometimes weight loss patients have that happen because of elasticity (like another poster said). My surgeon said that a revision may need to be done in the future. There is no way to tell since everyone is different.

I know it really sucks though.

I still have loose skin but I dont think enough was removed. Looks fine when I stand but if I sit, or bend over my belly looks nasty. I also have the pooling skin around my hips when I lay down. I know Im not going to be perfect, just wi**** was better after spending so much money....  BTW I looked at your pics in a bikini and you look awesome!!!  Brandi

I know the skin can loosen up over time which is why some women have their tummy tuck revised to excise the extra skin.  I'm still swelling and I notice the area on my upper abdomen  could use some tightening.  I hope to get that tweeked when I do my arms.  I know how frustrating it must be after paying so much for PS and going through the pain just to end up not happy a couple of years down the road.  I think it's more common than we think especially for WLS patients.  Our skin just doesn't have elasticity as someone who has never been obese.

Hi there old timer.....I haven't been on here for a while but glad to see ya.  I'm 2 years out of butt/thighlift/arms/tummy and knees.  I too have noticed that my legs are more jiggly.  I never did get all my weight off so I'm having a revision to the rny done Dec. 1.  Should be interesting.  I know that I won't have anymore plastics.  I'll just let myself jiggle!  That was rough surgery and I didn't have any problems!!!!  Jeez.  Did you use Dr. JLo?
