That's my fear......you are assuming.......you need to check with a CPA Tax Accountant to be sure.

I would agree that claiming the deduction could send up a red flag. However, upon audit, if you cited the case and the Revenue Ruling, it is likely that the Auditor would drop it.

AGAIN--- Just my opinion

I love tax law!! If I wasnt so old and tired, I might just continue on to be a tax attorney!!
