Hi there everyone,
I am going back in for more PS....and wanted to know if anyone here has had this situation. I had a Tummy Tuck in June of 08 and a brachioplasty is July of 08. Since, my belly button has formed scar tissue and has a very very small hole. I am cleaning it daily but the doc says best bet would be do have more surgery to open it back up. In addition, I am having lipo on my arms to make the appearance smaller. They still seem big and that is after the brachioplasty.
Has anyone ever had lipo on arms or belly button repaired?
Thanks!!
Kimberly

Hi Kim

Sorry to hear about your belly button. I did not have any belly button issues but I did have lipo on my arms.

I am glad I did. I opted out on the first round and decided to have the lipo later. It is a process I have discovered!

God speed in your surgeries and continue to enjoy this wondrful journey!

Kimberley,
I remember you! I always thought you had such a pretty smile. Glad to hear you are doing well. I do not have an answer for your question;sorry. I will be losing my belly button on Wednesday. I have had so many surgeries in the same area he was afraid it would not heal. I do not plan on wearing a bikini anytime soon so am at peace with it. Maybe I will get one tattooed on! That would be a hoot and so unlike me.

HI!
Sounds like you are having a couple of revisions.......very common.

I had a revision on my arms whi*****luded lipo and it did a great job!  Honestly I wish he had done the lipo at the same time as surgery but it is what it is.  I have to say the lipo did make a big difference.

So far as the belly button sounds like a revision to me but I did not experience this (and hope I don't have to)

Best wishes!!!

My arms were revised with lipo.  Photo is on my profile.  Everything turned out great.

Hi there,
I read your profile and have a couple of questions---if you don't mind! :-)
So, did you have the brachioplasty first and then lipo later to "thin" them down?
How was the pain after the lipo on arms? How long were you of work? Did you notice a big difference?
Thanks so much!

I had my brachioplasty done in Jan 08 and the revision done in Oct 08.  The revision was lipo on both arms and a scar revsion where I had a wound seaparation on my upper right arm, near the armpit.  There was no pain with the lipo.  I could have gone back to work the next day however, the revision was done with my facelift so I stayed out of work for two weeks.

There was a huge difference in the debulking lipo.  And very little skin laxity which was great.  I don't have any photos to show of my arms before the revision unfortunately.  I never thought to take any at the time.  I'm having surgery next Monday so perhaps I'll get the password to my photo account with him and download something next week when I'm sitting around doing nothing.

Good luck with your work.
