I am REALLY getting nervous/scared about now. I have butterflies in my stomach & want to EMOTION EAT so bad!!! I'm trying to remember that I've had an open appendectomy (1984),an Abdominal Laposcopy (1994), Gastric Bypass Laposcopically,face/brow/eye/breast lift last year(just uncomfortable but not really pain, but I was so doped up from anesthesia that I don't remember the first 3days!)...and I remember how BAD I hurt after Gastric (BUT I was in hospital & doped up and taken care of by nursing staff for 5 days)...You can see how I'm KINDA freaking out!!  LOL I have confidence in my Dr., I know that the pain/discomfort will not be FOREVER...But I'm SO WUSSY about the pain.
My Dear Little Mother will be caring for me and I don't want her to be anymore "put out" then she already will be.She has seen me through several ordeals & I don't want to be anymore of a burden than I have to be. Being in pain & wussified is my "concern' (read fear lol). And after my Nipple Surgery experience she is concerned with this surgery.
Well thank you for letting me vent & please know I SO much apprciate all of the information you have shared and it definately has and WILL help alot.
So many of you have had multiple procedures done at one time that I keep thinking I shouldn't be so Wussy about this.

Hey sweetie it's natural to be nervous and emotional.  I went through the ups and downs with each and every procedure.   For me it always happens the same.....when I schedule the date I'm all excited....about 2-3 weeks prior I start getting nervous....about 10 days prior I'm more nervous than excited.....then about 3 or 4 days before the procedure I kind of settle down.

Having confidence in your surgeon is important.  FYI - I always insist on spending a few mins before the procedure with the anesthesiologist.....helps me to relax. :-)

I had my TT and Breast lift 6 weeks ago and I have to tell you I'm still amazed at how little pain I've had.  Yes, there is some discomfort but nothing unbearable or too bad.

Hang in there girlie.....you'll be fine.  Before you know it you'll be waking up and enjoying a beautiful flat tummy.  Trust me the first time you see it is a true joy!

PM me if you want to chat......
I'll be thinking of you on the 21st.
Hugs

You are not being a wuss it is quite an experience to go through. But you have already been through and succeeded so I dont doubt that you will do well with this surery as well.

I agree with Ruth that being a little nervous is natural it will be here and over before you know it.

Praying for your peace!
