Polling the Veterans

I had no idea of my size after my abdominoplasty. My surgeon removed a similar amount (or I think she did) with mine, and I had ZERO clothes after that would fit.

Remember that you will swell for a very long time, and prepare for that clothing wise.

And yes, I had trouble imagining what it would be like to not have the apron of hanging flesh. The four drains were in the way after, though, so it was a few weeks to a month before I had to deal with the smaller me (clothing wise).

Shopping at my new, smaller size was much more frustrating than I had expected. I have curves, and not every clothing type fits me! I have to find things that are right for my body (and I'm a size 8). However, the amount of things to try has skyrocketed! Now it can be scary to shop. I take a friend who has a similar body shape as me.
