DISABILITY AND OUT OF THE COUNTRY DRS?

I am condidering surgery with Dr. Sauceda, however i am concerned that i will be unable to collect disability or my work paid leave. Will going to a dr out of the country cause problems with that? Has anyone collected short term disability while recovering from surgery?

I haven't applied yet but did see a Q&A on the California Disabliltiy site saying it did cover Cosmetic Surgery out of Country.

I have thought the same thing.   I would think you probably have to have documentation that it is for a medical condition in order to get paid sick time off or short term disability. 

I know that Tony, aka shscharger, turned in his paperwork for short term disability, and it was approved.  He filled out the paperwork, and faxed it to Dr Sauceda for him to sign.  Tony had his surgery on saturday, so maybe when he is back at the hotel, he will be able to help you a little more.
