I was approved yesterday for my Breast lift/reduction, and panniculectomy. I am having surgery on 10/28/09 along with spiral thigh lift, and anchor cut for tummy tuck ! Can't wait!!! My insurance is United Health Care- (Federal Employee) It was a lot of fighting and an appeal, but I WON the fight!! :0) Beth

I am so happy for you. I have United Health Care (AT&T employee). I am in the process of submitting for a panniculectomy. What were there reason's for the denial at first?

Take time for yourself and good luck. I just got a tt, bilateral brachioplasties and breast implants with lift 9/28. Recovery can be hard with frankenstein scars and swelling that makes you feel like a big marshmellow but the results are amazing when the swelling subsides. What you look like in recovery is not the end result at all.. Patience is the name of the game. Good luck! (Oh- make sure you keep your drains in as long as possible and be clear on allowed activity. Don't pu****!)
