I would say three to four weeks at least, for the two at once, but be prepared for longer.

I would say 2 might be a bit short for me but you may be more resilient. You may want to try a few half days and see how it goes, I took 3 weeks after a thigh lift and liposuction. But truth be told I could have done half days around about 2.5 weeks but I took a full 3 weeks off and I have a desk job. I had the paid leave available so I took it.

at this point I have a month off after my surgery. I have a desk job but it is 12 hr shifts, days and nights and I need to be alert and able respond to anything. I can take more time off if I need it though.

I'm hoping to leave early and be back home to spend Christmas with my kids. I have someone here that will be removing my stitches and drains for me, so Dr. Sauceda said if I'm doing OK, he will allow me to come home early!

If you're flying you will need a passport, but if you're driving, I believe a birth certificate works fine. Are you going to be there alone? I'm having my surgery on 12/2

I may be going alone but hubby may be able to come down with me for the surgery and head back early to take care of the kids and puppy. So you are staying 14 days? Are you paying for extra days? I wonder how much it is per night. Dr S said 12 days but I may want to get a few extra in just in case...
