I'll call my surgeon in the morning, but I just wanted to know if this is something to worry about.

I have a red, itchy welt along my incision line. It's also draining a little clear fluid. Is there something I can put on it?

You are SO not alone. I use benadryl for the itching.

I had that same thing and it was oozing clear fluid , it was aan internal stitch . he told me to put hot compresses on it to see if it would come to the surface but it didn't, so he had to remove it in the off ice it didn't hurt when he did it & it healed up immediately

internal stitch.. eventually mine worked out to the surface and even at times got "*****" unfortunately. I did this for 4 months at the same spot.. many worked their way over to the same area.. weird. I know.
