I am APPOVED!!!!

I really havn't posted on this board to much in the past but I thought I would just say that I am approved to have a mini tummy tuck.  My insurance is going to pay for everything but $15.00 which is my copay so yes. 100% coverage from insurance. 

My PCP is a sweetheart.  He said that he would work with any plastic surgeon that I pick and that he will copy what ever the surgeon said.  So they worked together very well.  If I had to pay out of pocket I wouldn't be doing it.  Yes I have lots of hanging skin but nothing good shapewear couldn't hide.  I am just so happy that I documented all rashes and irritations (didn't have any just told the doctor I did).  

They are working out my schedule while I am typing this out.  I am hoping to have surgery done in a few weeks.  I can't wait.

OH!!!  Good idea - telling them I have skin rashes but I really don't.  I keep trying to figure out a way to GET skin rashes

Congratulations on the approval! What is a "mini" TT? I was approved for a panniculectomy without any rashed or irritation. That really suprised me because the hanging skin isn't really that bad. I wanted to have insurance to help pay for BA. It turned out to really not be a savings so I had the BA 3 weeks ago. I am going to schedule the panni for November.

What insurance company do you guys have?  It's almost time for Open enrollment and I'd like one that is more receptive to PS.
