Back in the living- 3 weeks since Brac and Panni
Hello-
On Sept 8, I had a panni and brachioplasty (arms) done by Dr. Kenneth Bermudez in SF. Took off 13 lbs of yuck!
Had a bit of a set back after the surgery- got a hematoma in my left arm. I was most impressed with the doctor and how it was all resolved quickly. Overall, I have nothng but praise for Dr. Bermudez..
It is interesting to me that I am having a slower than I expected recovery. Stomach has been doing great- down to one drain and all fine. My arms have been much more tender and sensitive than I expected. Still cannot wear deoderant and have to keep arms wrapped. Drove for the first time today and am working from home and with limited hours in the office. Could be that at 55, I do not bounce back like I hoped.
My husband jokes I have abs and despite swelling,etc- arms are looking good.
My advice to anyone doing this is.....be gentle with yourself and have help at home if possible!
Thanks for all your encouragement and good wishes.
