calf lipo?

He originally said that he would decide the incision when I get there, but through other conversations, he said he was planning a periarelar incision. That would be great to have less of a scar, but according to a local surgeon I have grade III ptosis. I don't know that it's really a 3, but its probably somewhere between 2 and 3. Anyway, I definately want a high nipple, and the periareolar is apprantly associated with quicker sagging post op. Of course, I've read some articles where a really skilled surgeon can do a great job with this incision type.

I emailed him yesterday and asked him about the BL incision, possible calf lipo, and maybe auto butt agumentation. I don't want a big bootie, and mine isn't horrible, but if it wasn't expensive, I could use a little more curve in my behind. I sure hope he gets back to me soon. I want my date to be final!!! Tentatively, I would be going on 11/13, but I told him I knew he couldn't hold the date while I figured everything out. I hope its still available!!!!

I hope you can message while you are away. I'd love to hear from you.

I would have liked to have the periarelar incision too, but I want really perky girls!!  I have fair skin, so I am hoping the line from the lollipop will fade to nothing.

I have heard calf lipo is super painful!  You are a brave girl!  I am having lipo with fat grafting to the butt too because I want a little fluff in the bootie.  I do not want a huge butt, but I want a little shape!

I am going to be keeping my blog updated while I am gone, so please check there!  The blog address is in my signature below.

Good luck!

I had calf lipo. Most docs won't do it because the results are not worth the pain, etc. He took 0.2 Liters out of each calf-that was the max he said he could get to because of the muscle. To be honest, I dont think the results justified the pain - YOWSERS...mine hurt worse than my LBL I had done at the same time. It cramped for 2 months after it was done and for the first 6 weeks I was walking on my toes...Honestly - I can't tell any difference, although with much smaller thighs they still look in proportion now to what they were before the thigh lift. (They still look big to me though....

My doc offered to fix whatever I wasn't happy with and although I was hoping for a more significant reduction in my calves, NO WAY would I have him do it again... nope, not for me.  He's going to take more off my thighs but I'm not having him touch my calves again.

Hey Cass!
Thanks for sharing your experience.  I desperately want/need something done with my calves...I'm hoping the Dr can "lift" the saggy skin up....I'm thinking perhaps at the fold of the back of my knee.  Otherwise I've heard of a few (and only a few) surgeons who will do what is basically like a brachioplasty but down the inside of the calf....not loving that idea due to the highly visible scars.

Anyhow...I'm glad I know it's painful and not fun to do lipo on the calves....makes me better prepared when decision time comes.
Thanks for sharing!
