Hi All.

I am new to the plastics forum as my loving husband has just given me the go ahead to start the plastic  journey.
I am looking into a lower body lift with a tummy tuck and a breast lift augmentation. I am curious as to the approx. costs, recovery time. Pain level etc. I am going to start interviewing doctors in a couple of weeks so anything advice questions I should ask for the veterans out there would be greatly appreciated.

Thx Again I am so excited.

Cheers

Welcome to the plastics forum.  If you go to the following website and click on the individual procedure on the left you will be taken to a page that lists average costs.  I am not sure how accurate it is but at least it is a place to start.  Do you think you might be able to get your insurance to cover any of your procedures?  If cost is a factor you might want to look into one of the resident training programs.

Check out the surgeons on the OH website. I personally used Dr. Bernard Shuster. You can read his referrals online or go to his website at  www.drshuster.net  I have had a LBL, Face lift, breast lift and implants and an inner thigh lift.

Good luck with your research

Hi Maureen,

Welcome to the forum! Prices will range from practice to practice...word of advice...never shop for doctors by price. I have seen many patients do that and end up having to spend triple in price just to repair what they have had done. Im not saying this is true for every case, its just a shame when it does happen :(

Do your research on the procedures. On our website we have a plethora of info on the procedures you are looking to have. This will give you some insight so you are informed before you walk into your consults.

Expect recovery time to be about 2.5 weeks. Take it easy on yourself during this period of time. It is crucial for you to rest and have loved ones there to take care of other things for you!

Pain level...usually the pain is the worst the first couple of days...but this is why doctors prescribe pain medication so that you could be at ease.

If you have any more questions...feel free to ask!
