5 wks post - op

I will be 5 weeks post-op from tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and inner thigh lipo.  Everything were healing well until this week when I noticed under my breast the skin broke off.  My doctor describes it as a scraped knee affect.  He says it's nothing serious just put neosporin on it and keep it covered.  Have anyone else experienced this so far out from surgery?

I know my breast were itching last week and I could have scratched the skin off, but I don't recall scratching hard enough to take the skin off.

When I had my breast reduction last year I did have something that sounds similar.  I had a spot were the horizontal and vertical incisions came together that became "raw", the skin would scape and then peel off...I believe it kept happening because the sports bra band was rubbing on the area all day.  Once I sent back to wearing the soft cloth longer line bra they sent me home from the hospital in the problem stopped.  Also, whenever I was going out and had to wear a "real bra" I would put a gauze pad in the area to cover it and that helped too.

It's funny you mention the sports bra band, I honestly thought that could be causing this to happen, because it's exactly where you stated.  Right were the two incisions meet. 
Thanks for the information, I am going to switch bras and see if that helps.

Switch bras (try to avoid an underwire) and put a guaze pad over the area...it really helped me.
