Update: Based on the cat scan the mass is either the remnants from my thyroid surgery in 2001 or a parathyroid problem. I am leaning more to the remnant theory. After my thyroid surgery I was in ICU for 3 days and we don't know why. I am scheduled to see and ENT on October 5Th.
