So on the fence....UCSF or Stanford anyone know Dr Khan?

Ok my insurance will be paying keep this in mind....if i chose their provider.

My local doc wont do my surgery in one step fleur de lis and breast reduction/lift maybe arms too.


I live 6 hours from stanford andwill have to stay in a hotel for atleast a week after the hosp.

I will have to take nearly 10 weeks off if i stay home for both surgeries

I will be under twice if i stay home. 

I am really really torn as to which step to take. I am really suffering from  my back and neck issues...almost causing me to not be able to work for more than a couple of hours a day without major pain.

I have the option of going to stanford or ucsf. Both will do the surgery at same time.

HELP!!

 

So, what, your insurerers only provider is the local guy? What's up with that? Can you get a review by the local IPA to have it down south?
