armpit revision on Friday... nervous and ?s

I had my brachioplasty almost a year ago, but have extra skin in one armpit, so the surgeon is going to fix it on Friday (office procedure under local).  I am getting surprisingly nervous.  My armpits hurt a LOT when I had the original brachioplasty so I am afraid of that kind fo pain again... and I'm still a little nrevous about having ANYTHING cut after it took almost 6 months for the giant necrotic hole in my belly to heal up after my TT.

Has anyone else had their armpit area re-cut?  How was it compared to the original surgery?  How long did it take to heal up?

I cannot believe I am letting him cut me again...  In the past 16 months, I have had a hernia repair, panni removal, combined brachioplasty and mons lift, a reverse TT (with the six-month crater), and a gallbladder removal.  I am SO sick of having some part of my body sore and/or healing...but I hate looking at one droopy armpit every morning in the mirror.

Have not had PS yet.  Oct 5 is my day.  I am excited and very nervous too.  But wanted to wish you a perfect revision and a speedy recovery with no pain.  And here is a big hug!!!\

I know what you mean about the armpit pain being the worst after the brachioplasty.  I'm sorry I can't respond about having them re-cut.  I will having mine done again but not for a couple months.

There was a poster about 3 months ago who had her brachio done 3 times....she may have blogged about it.  Her username is penguin in it but I'm not sure of the whole name.  You might be able to search her.
