PS in Mexico

I found a doc and a price in meixico.  the price is nice, for all that they do... 6500 TT lipo and a breast lift. 

I can't find anything negative on line about the doc.  I can't find any reviews either... so i wanted to know what you guys think?

I know that there are horror stories... that is here and there..

I never heard of him but a lot of people on this board have used Dr. Saucedo,
most times especially the cheapest isn't always the best

Have you looked into any of the resident training programs.  Sometimes the price is comparable to out of country pricing when one factors in the cost of travel, lodging, etc.

You should try www.makemeheal.com, they have alot of women there that get surgery overseas.
I too was going to get my surgery done in Tijuana Mexico, however I decided to go to a surgeon in my state and was surprised that the quote was comparable with what the PS in Mexico.

Have you had a consult with a PS in your state??

Are you set on going to TJ?  Have you checked out Dr Sauceda in Monterrey?  He offers all inclusive pricing, and it covers hotel, garments, meds, transportation, and even reimburses you for your flight up to $600.  He does beautiful work too and has great pricing!  I am going to him in October!

I looked into that, but I was afraid of complications. What wil you do in that situation? Stay longer, e-mail visits, or what?

I had my surgeries in the area where I live (Los Angeles) and with the complications, I was glad that my surgeons were local people.

It would not have saved me much to go to Mexico, either, once I shopped around.

I have already made a plan if complications arise.  I am even traveling alone as well, but we already have a backup plan in case someone has to come help me or get me.  The Texas border is appx 2 hours away as well.  If I get complications once I get home, my insurance will cover me.  I already have an appointment set up for when I get back  as well. 

After looking at US Drs and Mexico Drs, I am savings over $20,000 by going to Mexico.  I am paying $14,000 all inclusive pricing that includes my hotel, clinic stay, 2 sets of garments, and even meds.  I am getting a lower body lift, breast lift with gummy bear silicone implants, medial thigh lift, and lipo to my tummy, back, thighs, and neck with fat transferred and grafted to my butt.   this quote was from a Dr in

I received 3 quotes from U.S. Dr's, and once was $32K plus hotel, flight,  and after care facility.  that quote did not inlcude the lipo with fat grafting.  This was a Californina Dr.   Another quote was for $26K, and it did not include hotel, flight, medial thigh lift, or lipo with fat grafting. This quote was from a Dr in Texas and figured in a military discount for me.

The last quote I got was for just an extended tummy tuck because that is all he would do at one time.  It was for $8000 and did not include flight, hotel, or anything else either.  This was also a Californina Dr.

Living in Hawaii, I don't have a lot of plastic surgeons to choose from either, plus it everything is expensive here.
